I am Theresa Pack, and the Director and owner of the Mendocino School of Holistic Massage and Advanced Healing Arts. My reason for offering my business and licensed private school for sale is that I wish to retire.

The school has been a great life and a great business opportunity for me. I established the Mendocino School of Holistic Massage and Advanced Healing Arts school in 1988, and became a licensed Private Postsecondary Educational School. My school is well know in Napa, Mendocino county and Lake county. Many of the spas in the area only accept massage students who come from this school.

I have 5 approved programs leading to occupational titles, and 3 registered programs. I am not regulated for the number of students or the frequency of the courses I offer. The sale of the school could be created in a variety of ways, with my assistance or without, consulting services, inventory and equipment, etc. These are details to be discussed by phone or in person with an interested buyer. My holistic programs are popular. I provide wonderful training and healing experiences to those students who come here. I have been very successful with my holistic programs of healing. Last year, the gross income for this school was $145,000.

It is important to know that there are changes occurring in the Bureau of Private and Post Secondary Education, who has regulated and licensed schools in California. At this time, they are on a "time out". This just occurred June 30th. We are not restricted by application for transfer of ownership, and outside time frames, because of this temporary restructuring at the State level. I am selling a business that is a State licensed school. When the dust settles and the "new deal" is in place, schools such as myself who are in compliance, and have recently had their licenses renewed will be grand fathered into the new system. In the interim, it is business as usual. I have everything in place as is required and am in good standing, with all forms approved, catalog approved, clock hours, etc. This business/school is legal to operate anywhere in California.

You could operate the school from wherever you choose OR if you are already operating a school of your own you could absorb this curriculum into your own.
